چکیده

This paper presents a study on bioinspired closed-loop Central Pattern Generator (CPG) based control of robot fish for obstacle avoidance and direction tracking. The biomimetic is made rigid head with pair pectoral fins, wire-driven active body covered soft skin, compliant tail. CPG model consists four input parameters: the flapping amplitude, angular velocity, offset, time ratio between beat phase restore in flapping. equipped three infrared sensors mounted left, front right fish, as well an inertial measurement unit, from which surrounding obstacles moving can be sensed. Based these sensor signals, CPG-based drive to avoid track designated directions. Four sets experiments are presented, including avoiding static obstacle, tracking path. experiment results indicated that presented strategy worked accomplish effectively.

Bioinspired Obstacle Avoidance Algorithms for Robot Swarms

Recent work in socio-biological sciences have introduced simple heuristics that accurately explain the behavior of pedestrians navigating in an environment while avoiding mutual collisions. We have adapted and implemented such heuristics for distributed obstacle avoidance in robot swarms, with the goal of obtaining human-like navigation behaviors which would be perceived as friendly by humans s...

Obstacle Avoidance Based Anfis and Tracking Control a Redundant Robot Manipulator

This paper addresses the issue of obstacle avoidance of a robot manipulator fixed in a predefined environment. This is achieved by using a selfmotion technique related to the robot arms. It is obtained by projecting the gradient of a scalar function (representing the criterion) on the null space of the Jacobean matrix related to the robot. Two important analytical methods are generally used: Gr...

Optimal Trajectory Planning of a Mobile Robot with Spatial Manipulator For Spatial Obstacle Avoidance

Mobile robots that consist of a mobile platform with one or many manipulators mounted on it are of great interest in a number of applications. Combination of platform and manipulator causes robot operates in extended work space. The analysis of these systems includes kinematics redundancy that makes more complicated problem. However, it gives more feasibility to robotic systems because of the e...

Closed-loop control of zebrafish response using a bioinspired robotic-fish in a preference test.

In this paper, we study the response of zebrafish to a robotic-fish whose morphology and colour pattern are inspired by zebrafish. Experiments are conducted in a three-chambered instrumented water tank where a robotic-fish is juxtaposed with an empty compartment, and the preference of live subjects is scored as the mean time spent in the vicinity of the tank's two lateral sides. The tail-beatin...

Control of Flexible Link Robot using a Closed Loop Input-Shaping Approach

This paper is has addressed the Single Flexible Link Robot. The dynamical model is derived using Euler-Lagrange equation and then a proper controller is designed to suppress a  vibration based-on Input-Shaping (IS) method. But, IS control method is an open loop strategy. Due to the weakness of open loop control systems, a closed loop IS control system is proposed. The achieved closed loop c...
